“Entwurf für ein Titelblatt B. Breitners ‘Johannes’” [design for a title sheet of B. Breitner’s ‘Johannes’], Indian ink, washed and coloured chalk on brownish paper, corners firmly mounted on supporting cardboard, monogrammed and dated RT 28 3 21, on the supporting cardboard titled, sheet size 28.7 x 22.4 cm, supporting cardboard 40.5 x 27.8 cm, with the book ‘Johannes’ by Burghard Breitner with Teschner’s printed cover, published in 1922 as the seventh book of Avalun-Tausenddrucke, Avalun-Verlag/Vienna and Leipzig, uncut copy, cover with slight signs of age, spine slightly browned.
Including: 5 aquatint etchings by Richard Teschner, each signed Rich Teschner, 1 sheet also dated 1924 and titled ‘Die Verlobten’, sheets with diverse defects, (7), (RAC)
