Vienna c. 1905, manufactured by Portois & Fix, multipiece box-shaped construction with slightly protruding middle part, open top, lower section with two drawers and two doors; the side elements featuring (at top) a door with wooden frame and veneer on both sides, original glass panes with facetted decoration and gilt bronze, as well as floral motifs, (at bottom) one drawer each, veneered on both sides, mahogany veneer on beechwood, brass locks and brass/bronze cast fittings, stamped “Portois & Fix Wien”. All locks are original. Professionally restored condition. Dimensions: 196 cm, total width c. 190 cm (width of the middle part c. 95 cm), depth c. 47 cm. (MHA)
