Round Hand-Knotted Silk Carpet,
probably China? diameter c. 60 cm (incl. frame c. 75 x 95 cm), 19th century, with an image of a dragon in high/low structure the present unique specimen is difficult to classify, manufactured in asymmetrical knots on cotton foundation, it could have served as end of a cylindrical cushion once, very good condition, on linen fabric, wooden board and heavy wooden frame.
