Manton, Strada S. Carlo N. 32 (painter of vedutas, active in Naples, c. 1830), pages. 21–22 vedutas of Grottaferrata, signed Giuseppe Fini, followed by figures in costumes (pg. 23–25), Donna di Albano, Sonnino (Latium), Ciociaria (near Rome), followed by vedutas pg. 26–29, Maxentiusbasilika, Forum Romanum, Vue de Frascati et la Campagna de Rome, pg. 30–33 caricatures, concerning the painter’s life, all signed Carl Johan Lindström, (Linköping/Sweden 1800–1841 Naples; active in Rome and Naples between 1823–41 as caricaturist, landscap and genre painter), in verschiedenen Sprachen titled in various languages, e.g. “when I have the lineaments I’m sure of the effects” or “il faut faire la nature en ravage”, followed by other Italian vedutas, a watercolour, representing a Commedia dell’arte group (pg. 38), the way of the cross in the Colloseum with Franciscan monks and worshippers (pg. 39), a view of a glyptothek (pg. 42), the funeral procession of Pope Pius VIII “Convoi funèbre du souverain Pontife” (pg. 44), pg. 45–58 Italian vedutas of Rome and the Campagna, total number 60 watercolours, gouachen, drawings and 2 coloured prints, titled in French, laid down on numbered album pages, 27 x 37 cm, watercolours mainly 20 x 25 cm, some 15 x 18 cm, with an Ex Libris stamp and numbered 541E16, gold embossed leather binding, 25 x 39 x 3,5 cm, damaged, (Hu)
