Provenance:
Formerly property of Maria Vera Brunner-Frieberger. In addition to toys, graphics and glass paintings, the artist also created fabrics, lace and embroidery works for the Wiener Werkstätte. She was also a member of the WW artists’ workshops. Her works for the Österreichische Hausindustrie are also documented. It can thus be assumed that the present embroidery was made by the artist herself. The object has been in continuous family ownership.
