commissioned by Wiener Werkstätte, manufactured by Wiener Werkstätte and Pfeiffer & Löwenstein, Schlackenwerth, c. 1919, white-bodied porcelain, cast, decorated handles, with transparent glaze; decorated in blue and red (on-glaze painting), linear pattern, small stars and green spikes; shape: “Merkur”, facetted, octadecagonal; undersides stamped with manufactory marks WW in black, Pfeiffer & Löwenstein Schlackenwert in blue, and numbered 1145/3 in green; size: cup: height 5.6 cm, diameter 10.3 cm, saucer: height 2.1 cm, diameter 13.3 cm.
