I hover around cemeteries and morgues, collect photos of the dead, examine physiognomies of the dead, study mortifications. As a person, I want to approach this secret in more detail, as a marked person I don’t want to push the problem on the side.
As a human being just like everyone else, it’s the big confrontation for me too. As a non-believer and believer-in-everything, I want to record religion this way. To capture as an artist does, to depict more freedom from taboos and more directly as a designer does. There are no central key works in museum format. They will never be created, they should never exist. They can never be, except for my own death mask, my own death photo. (Revised by me again in my imagination?)
