figure dancing on one foot tip, one leg raised and bent, the arms spread out; bronze, gilt and cold patinated in shades of red and blue on the jewels; carved ivory; one finger professionally restored; signs of age and use; numbered 7 on the back of the lower foot; figure mounted on an elevated brown stepped base, the latter marked Philippe on the back; very slightly chipping to lower edge of the base; total height: 26.4 cm.
