so-called girandole, second half of the 19th century, baluster shaft on domed base, decorated in relief with ornamental and geometrical motifs, 4 candle arms in volute shape with 4 attached angels in praying pose and 2 angels carrying coats of arms, height c. 36 cm, ball on top supplemented, signs of age with slight verdigris patina. The coats of arms belong to the Houses of Liechtenstein and Kinsky. This high-quality piece was probably commissioned on the occasion of a wedding or anniversary of Princess Franziska of Liechtenstein, née Countess Kinsky, with Prince Alois II of Liechtenstein.
