porcelain, polychromed and gilt, a young couple standing at the altar of love, the woman’s wrists are tied with a rose wreath, the young man with a rose wreath in his hair, holding a flaming torch in his right hand and a fluttering butterfly in his left, in the middle an altar with 2 billing doves, 2 ram’s heads, egg-and-dart border, red and light purple rose garlands, 2 cherubs at the corners, oval base with wide gilt edging, border decorated in relief with rosettes, white strings of pearls and leaves, the reverse side with open gold casket, containing a white plate with gold monogram CGJ for Christian Gottfried Jüchtzer, height 36 cm, length 25 cm
