Bakalowits, Söhne, Vienna, 1901 production number: 85/3930/I-II, decoration: opal Phänomen Genre 358 (1900); clear glass, thin opalescent glass underlay, the clear top layer wrapped in clear veined silver-yellow and pulled into irregular patterns; on the finial and above the lower part an orange and silver-yellow application pulled into short tongues, at the centre and to the exterior a large application terminating in silver-yellow and dark brown tongues; mould-blown and shaped, pared-down and with iridescence; the glass finial in the upper section very slightly uneven; brass mounts with raised openwork band; height 6.8 cm, diameter 15.8 cm.
