Movement: self-winding, lever movement numbered DD461449, calibre 1556, 26 stones
Dial: Champagne, pie pan shape, applied baton numerals, weekday, date, central second
The first Rolex Day-Date was presented in 1956 with the references 6510 and 6511. The next generation followed as soon as 1957, with the 6611. The third generation, the 1800 series, was introduced in around 1960. This so-called ‘presidential model’ was produced until 1978.
The present watch is in very good state of preservation.
