The painting Venus, Mercurius and Cupid relates to the composition by Antonio Allegri, called il Correggio, in the National Gallery, London (inv. no. NG10).
The painting Venus chastising Cupid relates to the engraving by Agostino Carracci in the Istituto Centrale per la Grafica, Rome (inv. no. S-FC30422).
