East Anatolia, c. 470 x 165 cm, about 1900. A two-piece slit kilim with contour wefts. Along the central axis of the field are three rhomb-shaped medallions in alternating colour stripes arranged on top of each other. Anatolian flatweaves in good condition are hard to find today. (VP)
