a nude boy riding a snail, holding reins of flowers in one hand; light-bodied ceramic, with polychrome painted decoration; professionally restored; the underside very slightly chipped; the back of the base behind the snail embossed with monogram and workshop signet; the underside also marked with monogram and workshop signet and with 81 and painted 1; height 18.6 cm.
