The Hungarian painter Lajos Erdös sojourned in Kitzbühel in the winter of 1923. In the snow-covered town, he chose a vantage point at its northern end, the Pfarrau, from where he was able to capture the picturesque ensemble of the Spitalkirche, Liebfrauenkirche and St. Andrew's Parish Church together in a unique perspective.
