white-beige linen damask; the centre with four square fields with quatrefoil geometrical floral formations, wide frame border with square fields filled with stylised floral motifs framed by a moving line decoration; oval line decoration in the corner fields; artist's monogram PB (Peter Behrens) woven into the corners; one corner additionally with embroidered owner's monogram BJ (?); signs of age and use; slightly stained; 64.6 x 64.6 cm.
