polished bronze; lidded box with hinged cover; on the cover raised depiction of a lady with hat; interior with two shelves for stamps; inside of the cover with embossed number 1559; lidded box inscribed on the reverse: Doblinger and foundry’s monogram AR (Atelier für Moderne Bronzen Arthur Rubinstein, Vienna); attached to a rectangular onyx base; the latter slightly chipped, with red felt lining on the underside; signs of age and use; total height: 7.3 cm; dimensions of lidded box (interior): 6.2 x 3.5 cm.
