800 silver, repoussé and chased; inner gilding; handled basket with movable handles made of curved bands; side with animated openwork floral decoration; the foot marked on the inside: German state hallmark, 800 purity mark, master’s mark, caduceus; weight of silver basket: 90.8 g; signs of age and use, scuffed; original clear glass liner with animated bevelled decoration and bevelled star cut base; very slightly chipped; diameter 11 cm, height incl. handle 19.6 cm.
