so-called table à écrire, Directoire, end of the 18th century, mahogany veneered hardwood and softwood structure on conical fluted legs, frames with sunk surfaces and beading, fluted brass inlays at the corners, drawer with extensible top covered with green felt - this can be set up with snap-in folding frame, a detachable veneered board conceals a hinged brass fixture for a candlestick extensible to the left, on the right side a retractable drawer with 2 inkwells, middle shelf, c. 74 x 70 x 39 cm, in restored condition.
