based on 18th-century Louis XV furniture, second half of the 19th century, rosewood veneered hardwood frame in curved freestanding design, on cabriole legs, with elaborate mirror veneer, in so-called ‘sans traverse’ execution, fall-front and back wall with shell-shaped marquetry décor, 2 external drawers, bronze doré mounts, interior with inner drawers with bombé fronts, fall-front with gold-embossed red Morocco leather, high-quality bronze hinged mechanism, c. 95 x 90 x 52 cm, in completely restored condition.
