The examples reserved for employees and not intended for the trade correspond in scope and decoration to the 'Edition de tete', which also appeared in an edition of 25 copies. The present example is inscribed on the title page with an dedication in the artist’s own hand signed by Kokoschka to the publisher, the film producer Gyula Trebitsch.
