Barbara Gross’s catalogue raisonné of Maria Lassnig’s prints does not mention an edition, but only 15 proofs, and illustrates a hand-coloured example from 1984. The present example differs significantly from that one, but also from the specimens in the Albertina/Vienna (DG1989/172) and the Staatsgalerie/Stuttgart (A 2019/11166) and has a unique character. Very rare. In the last 20 years, only one other copy - also with a unique colour scheme - has been offered on the auction market (source: Artprice. com)
