A “school” chair, designed by Ron Arad, 1986/87, for Vitra,
Weil on the Rhine, spring metal tracks, red anodised, black neoprene applications, height c. 92 cm, width c. 35 cm, depth c. 64 cm, height of seat c. 44 cm. Slight signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions (MHA)
Constructed of three spring metal tracks of equal length. Designed by Ron Arad in 1986/87, it was followed by a series of so-called prototypes in 1987/88 before Vitra commenced the actual edition in 1988, which remained in the program until 1993. However, only relatively few orders were placed for this model.
