gilt bronze, round, base with applied festoons and 2 Nikes, base with 3 full round winged putti, shaft finial with 3 full round swans with flowers, top with openwork floral-ornamental body, height 64 cm, diameter 25.5 cm, gilding repaired, base on a design by the Fauchére workshop, Paris, c. 1820/25, (Lu)
Fauchére's original design was published as genii with wings in a catalogue illustrated with lithographs and inscribed "7790 bronze cmrs/doré iurs," Paris Cabinet d'Estampes Le 31.
