Brora, an der Nordostküste Schottlands gelegen wurde 1983 geschlossen, die Schwester Distillery Clynelish übernahm die Produktion. Seit 2021 wird aber auch wieder in Brora Whisky destilliert. Die alten Brora Abfüllungen, die kurz vor der Schließung entstanden sind bei Sammlern sehr gefragt.
