The theme was furnishing the living room of a married worker. The living room designed by Sigmund Jaray under the motto "Home" was awarded second prize. In the following year, the results of the competition were exhibited at the Museum of Art and Industry in Vienna and subsequently shown as a travelling exhibition in several cities.
