and separate sugar tongs consisting of: teapot with hinged cover, coffee pot with hinged cover, milk and water jug, sugar bowl, a large oval tray and separate sugar tongs; silver; handles and cover finials of the coffee pot and teapot made of carved ivory (finial of coffee slightly chipped at top); handles of the milk and water jug also made of carved ivory (slight chipping along the upper margin of the ivory); signs of age and wear; undersides marked with factory mark, 800, toucan silver purity hallmark and the numbers 88995, 88996, 89459, 89942 and 91179; sugar tongs not by Alexander Sturm, the latter marked with dog’s head (800) and indecipherable master’s mark; measurements: coffee pot, height 18.5 cm; teapot, height 15.0 cm; milk and water jug, height 16.3 cm; sugar bowl, height 6.2 cm; tray, length 43.6 cm, width 34.8 cm; sugar tongs, length 10.0 cm; total weight: 3,116.7 g.
