A solid, massive piece that leads my thoughts to the monastic silence and minimal "avant la lettre" rigor of making an object with immediate craftsmanship using natural, noble materials: more than 50 meters long wool felt, wood and granite with a beeswax finish. Made as a monoblock, monolithic piece, it gives a feeling of trust and durability doubled by the "economy of means" employed in its concept. The granite stones are attached to the wooden frame using a traditional Japanese technique, while the wool felt is organically treated. A fusion of traditional and contemporary design.
