c. 1930, for Louis Poulsen, Denmark, classic, pared-down white lacquered metal construction, glass lamellas with matte finish. Dimensions of each lamp c. 29 cm, total height c. 37 cm, width c. 12.5 cm, depth c. 7 cm. Signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions, without guarantee for electrical fitting. (MHA)
The original model of the ‘elongated lamp’ was designed in 1931 and featured metal lamellas. The version with glass lamellas was introduced in 1934.
