Eva Eisler’s work is extensive. She belongs to the most important jewelry makers in the world and also works in architecture, design, art and participates in curatorial, pedagogical and exhibit activities. In 2006, she returned from the USA to Prague, where she leads the K.O.V. studio at the VŠUP in Prague. In her jewelry-making work she became famous for her minimalist approach and striving to achieve a pure form of the jewel. It is characterized by transgressing the traditional borders between materials, shapes and artistic techniques. In 2013, Eva Eisler won the Jewelry Maker of the Year award at the Czech Grand Design competition.
