- elegant, gracefully details down to the very last spoke
- saddle and stem are fixed with delicate double screws (lighter than one thick one)
- the rear derailleur is fixed to four ultra-thin tubes brazed to the frame
- the front derailleur is made entirely from tortuously bent wire
- Alex Singer is today regarded as one of the patron of French frame builders
- 1964 his nephews Ernest Csuka took over the business
- Ernest Csuka won two stages of the Tour de France Cyclotouriste on a Singer Randonneur bike in 1950
- today Ernests son Oliver successfully runs the business
