Prototyp der limitierten Serie von fünf Exemplaren. Philipp Aduatz's
"Folded Chair" contains and freezes the movement of draped lines. The downward cascating drapery is artificially stabilizes so that the aesthetics oft he folded linen is permanently on display. The production of the"Folded Chair" started with the selection of a chair which was then covered with a foil to protect it against the resin. Next, sheets of linen were used to test the proportions of folding. Then the linen sheets were soaked with resin and draped over the chair. After the resin had hardened, the chair was removed. Finally, the underside of the chair was reinforced with a load bearing structure and stiffened with polyurethane foam.
