Rudolf Burda is a graduate of the Secondary Decorative Arts School in Turnov. After finishing art fellowships in the USA, he founded the Rudolf Burda Studio in 1993. Simple shapes and a tendency towards minimalism are characteristic of his work. He works most often with the technique of blowing layered glass, which he sometimes combines with steel. Besides his studio work, he also creates large-scale works for architecture.
