Crystal glass, pink, blown, cut, signed and dated Rony Plesl 2017, 25 × 20 cm, made in the Rückl glassworks in Nižbor as a unique piece (Zí)
The family-owned Rückl glassworks has been synonymous with the highest-quality cut crystal since 1846. The masterly production of cut artistic glass is handmade. The usage of classical methods is characteristic of the glassworks. Currently, under the leadership of the artistic director Rony Plesl, it has added pastel-colored glass, unusual combinations of materials and unique shapes.
The vase entitled Berry represents the fruit archetype. Refined shapes and specifically developed cuts reflect the morphology of the plants of the Czech countryside, which is the inspiration for the new collection of the Rückl brand that is dominated by a soft shade of pink according to an old recipe. It is a unique prototype from the limited collection of Rony Plesl. Only a single piece was made with this design in this size.
