Petr Vlček Works 1988–2008, edited 2010 – in color
Petr Vlček studied at the AAAD in Prague in the studio of prof. B. Hanák in the second half of the 1980s. Since the end of the 1980s, he has focused on fused glass sculptures as well as designing bronze objects. In the beginning, he was inspired by archetypal symbols and ancient cultures. His training as a sculptor is evident in his work, which is characterized by simplified shapes leading to the cleansing of the shapes and to geometrical abstraction.
