Dagobert Peche - Buy or sell works

Dagobert Peche was an Austrian architect, graphic artist and craftsman of the Art Nouveau period.
Peche studied at TU Wien under Karl König, Karl Mayreder, Leopold Simony and Max von Ferstl. He was enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1908 until 1911, where he was instructed by Friedrich Ohnmann in the subject of architecture. Peche was employed at the Vienna Workshops in 1915, and was appointed director of the Vienna Workshops branch in Zurich in 1917, a position he held for two years. His style changed radically during this period and the use of floral elements came to dominate his artistic oeuvre. He increasingly contributed to exhibitions after his return to Vienna.
Throughout his life, Peche possessed a particularly acute degree of artistic fantasy, and his rich imagination for new design projects appeared inexhaustible until his death at the age of just 36.
Numerous works by Peche are now found in the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, which possesses the most extensive collection of objects from the Vienna Workshops.
A rare chandelier with birds, based on a 1922 design, was sold for €120,000 at a Dorotheum auction on 31 May 2006. A sitting suite, created for the premises of the Vienna Workshops in 2017, went for €50,000.
