surmounted by a small genius on a globe, holding palm leaves, supported by 2 amorettes, on the left of the clock Luna, the goddess of the moon, holding an hour glass in the raised right hand, on the base below a sleeping child, by the right side Aurora, the goddess of dawn, with a gilt morning star in her hair, on the base an awakening child, flanked by a seated genius, handing the child a gilt compass as an allegory of architecture, 2 children with palette and brush, as well as a book and pencil, representing painting and poetry, at the centre the clock case with white dial, gold-black Roman numerals and hands, the reverse side with open clock case, lid enclosed, the body with narrow and wide gilt edging, leaf rocailles heightened with light turquoise and light purple and with sculpted rose stems, height:
46,5 cm, small restorations;
