spring-driven, duration 1-2 days, anchor escapement, quarter striking on bells, musical mechanism release switch, large external carillon with ten bells, gilt face with gemstone inlay, later carousel work with the pedestal base depicting soldiers before a medieval fortress, green, gilt and white-painted softwood body, set with many mirrors, four allegorical figures in the all’antica style, eagle finial, stepped base, later base with mirrors and four columns, 257 cm, Bohemia / Southern Germany, 18th cent., traces of age damage and restoration, replaced parts, second hand and pendulum missing, (HP)
