Produced by Steinway & Sons New York 1876, Patent Grand Opus No.31.215, 7 1/4 octaves, with a rosewood-veneered case on carved and cabriole legs with brass casters, ivory keys, length 260 cm, sound board fully restored by Steinway (Hamburg). A similar model with Opus No. 34.304 was used by Richard Wagner (1813 1883) and is to be found in the Richard Wagner Museum in Bayreuth (D).
