1: A charming figure of the Hindu god Krishna, standing on a round lotus plinth, playing his flute. In Indian Hinduism, Krishna is worshipped as the eighth incarnation of the god Vishnu. Cast from brass-bronze using the waste mould technique. Only minor casting flaws on the lower edge. Otherwise no damage. Good usage patina. With the remains of red holy paste.
Height: 19 cm.
2: A round lidded box made of brass, used for lime and/or other ingredients employed in the popular practice of chewing betel. Cast from brass and embossed with flower-shaped decoration in relief. No damage.
Height: 8 cm;
Diameter: c. 13 cm (below).
