1: Three chokers from Afghanistan featuring a twisted spiral. Two of which have round silver flowers set centrally underneath, one set with a round, flat-cut carnelian stone. All three chokers are cast from high-quality silver, have decoration to the sides and have curved, partially decorated ends.
Height: 12 cm; 15 cm; 16 cm;
Diameter: 8 cm x 10 cm; 11 cm x 11 cm; 11 cm x 11 cm (all three chokers inside).
2: Two chokers of a style found in northern India and across Pakistan through to eastern Afghanistan. Cast and engraved in high-quality silver. One choker has a flat, centrally positioned centrepiece with an engraved, punched geometrically styled flower, continuing on both sides with engraved spherical and ring-shaped sections, topped with silver flowers and curved bud ends. The second silver choker is similar but in a simpler style.
Diameter: 10 cm x 13 cm; 10 cm x 12 cm (both chokers inside).
All five silver chokers are very old and are visibly very worn. No damage.
Weight: 1,150 g (all 5 chokers together). 19th century. (ME)
