A pair of ‘three-tiered’ bangles (or ‘arm cuffs’) from the Tekke Turkmens. Made entirely from quality silver. The three bands of each bracelet are engraved with typical Tekke volutes and fire gilded. Each band is decorated with three, round cut carnelian stones (cabochon cut). An old pair, with good signs of wear. No damage.
Height: each 8.5 cm; diameter: 5.5 cm x 6.4 cm (on the outside).
First third of the 20th century. (ME)
