1: A pair of ‘Suar’ bangles, with widening sides. This style originates with the Berber people in Libya (see cat. no 158). Both bangles display multiple hallmarks on the inside.
Height: 4.7 cm and 4.9 cm (lowest point, middle), each 8.7 cm (broadest point). Weight: 430 grams.
2: A pair of bangles cast in silver and engraved. Each with three offset areas. There is engraved decoration in the individual 9 fields, made up of geometric flowers, leafy and floral tendrils as well as hemispheric end sections. Probably also from Libya.
Diameter: each c. 7.5 cm.
3: Two pairs of silver earrings, one large, the other smaller. With engraved decoration on the outer side and rows of small, granulated silver spheres along the outer edges.
Diameter: c. 10 cm (large, on the outside), c. 5 cm, (small, on the outside). (ME)
