An Uzbek pendant, originally worn as ornamentation on the forehead. It is made of silver, boxlike, with three paisley shapes and fire-gilt on the front side. With 18 gilded pendants also made of silver and decorated with both large and small coral beads and turquoise. A magnificent and very elaborately crafted piece of ornamentation with good, old traces of use. There is no significant damage.
Height: c. 18 cm (with pendants); 11 cm (without pendants); width: c. 11 cm.
