porcelain, the waisted body with gilt edging, bordered with gilt beading and purple miniature leaves, the cup decorated with a polychrome painted lake landscape and a girl rowing in a yellow dress, in the foreground a mirrored monogram JB, the twisted branch handle heightened with gilt, the saucer with the rescued girl, the frayed yellow dress over her shoulders, next to her, her saviour, a shivering gentleman, soil base and the reverse side bearing the monogram JK, height: 5,2 cm, Ø13 cm, the gilt edging slightly scuffed, Vienna, Imperial Manufactory, underglaze blue Austrian shield ca. 1770, turner no. 9, 21, presumably commissioned work by a 'Hausmaler' (Ru)
