Saint Cloud, France, is the second oldest manufactory in France, and probably first started to work with soft-paste porcelain as early as 1693. In 1702, it began industrial production of fritware, which continued until 1766. Forms were modelled on metal vessels and Oriental porcelain items decorated with moulded flowering branches.
