the interior bearing the Saxon-Polish coat-of-arms dated 1726, porcelain, the rectangular body with gilt edging, Höroldt-borders with gilt painted foliage festoons, the facing side and reverse side decorated with cartouches containing polychromed scenes “auf Verleumdung des Raben’s tötet Apollo Coronis” (The raven's defamation leading to Apollo slaying Coronis); and “Jupiter verführt Calisto in Gestalt Dianens” (Jupiter seducing Calisto having taken the form of Diana), with Latin title below, both scenes with gilt leaf rocailles heightened with red, latticework and festooned with blossoms, flanked by Zeus, the eagle on his shoulder, in the left hand thunderbolts, as well as Hera with a peacock, a bow in the left hand, height: 11,5 cm, width: 7 cm, depth: 5 cm, gilding slightly scuffed, 2 minute firing cracks, Meissen, blue crossed swords on the unglazed base ca. 1725- 1730, impressed former's mark Paul Wildenstein, from 1720 at the Manufactory, Hausmaler (Ru)
