a pair of candelabra, porcelain, each with 3 candle sockets with narrow and wide gilt edging, decorated with leaves heightened with gilt, light turquoise-light purple, palm shaft, the facing side with gilt eagle with spread wings personifying Zeus, in the foreground Ganymede with short staff in the right hand, on the left a dog looking up and on the right a pan flute, Hebe with a goblet of red wine in the right hand, on the left a grapevine, on the right a rosebush and jug, Ganymede and Hebe wearing roses wreaths and garments with similar painted décor, the round base with gilt bead wreath, narrow and wide gilt edging, drapery heightened with gilt, buttons and rosettes, height: 35,5 cm, minor restorations, Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords 2nd half 19th cent., model no.
