Transition period salon chest of drawers,
Circa 1770. Made in oak, veneered mostly in satinwood, with ornamental marquetry panels in various fine woods, such as rosewood, tulipwood, amaranth and dyed woods, with five drawers, the lower two being "sans traverse", with a moulded grey marble top, and chased gilt bronze mounts. Stamped on the side support "F. REIZELL" (Francois Reizell, maître from 1764). 89 x 125 x 60 cm. Professionally restored and polished. (MIN)
